Ashfield Bowls Association has been part of the local community since 1974, when two local association joined forces to support and grow the sport of flat green bowls in the area.

We help promote and protect the game, making sure it's played fairly and enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. Today we support 23 clubs mainly across the Ashfield area of central Nottinghamshire, from Worksop in the north to Kimberley in the south, and from Alfreton in the west to Bilsthorpe in the east. most of our clubs are within 10 miles of Mansfield.
We run competitive leagues from Monday to Saturday, along with club and member cup competitions, alongside club friendlies. Whether you're new to the game or returning after a break, there's a warm welcome waiting for you.
